Lament (原來離騷這麼翻...)

Today is a Chinese traditional festival.
A festival I can't say the most favorite to me but I do like part of it.
In this festival, many activities will be held but actually I don't interested in any one of them.
The only thing I care, especially in a foreign country is "food".

Realgar wine is the top thing I want to have in this special day, hope it can help me to get rid of some "bad things" (it definitely useless cause you already surrounded by them...)(I thought you know, so you just want to drink...isn't it?)

Well, realgar wine maybe not a sort of food (Nonsense, it's obviously a drink!!), so the real top one I want in this day is sticky rice dumpling. (It's quite strange..all the Chinese food boiled by water called "dumpling"...)

Coincidentally, few days ago my colleague "Magical Wang" gave me 4 sticky rice dumplings, it's makes me warm and hungry. Then I keep them in my refrigerator and eagerly waiting for today coming.
One second..Maybe I should mention the reason why people make this strange food first...Should I?

Okey, thousand years ago, a patriotic poet "Qu Yuan" (some people said he is a homosexual) he provided some suggestions but were not taken seriously by the king , so he was disappointed and decided to persuade(死諫..這字好難, 鬼才會用) by plunging in the river then suicide himself.

Since people's yearn, they don't want aquatic creatures to eat his corpse, so make the sticky rice dumpling and drop into the river to prevent it happens. Gradually, it becomes a water pollution tradition. Then we get a conception, to drop things in the water is a kind of memorial behavior.

However, my cellular just dropped in the pond today...(actually so do I), In some aspect maybe the cellular and I was dedicated for him by this "memorial behavior"..(lol).

In this country, there is no pork so it's hardly to make a typical sticky rice dumpling.
But magical Wang said "Let there be light, and there was light.", there is always way out, so chicken breast was used to replace pork in dumpling.

Except pork, I don't think there is any difference between this dumpling and others I ever had before!
So...I ate all of them in once (4 dumplings).....(to be frankly.. maximum I can have 7 of it in one time 5 years ago....)

With my cellular and me, still a lighter, a pack of cigarette(just opened), a stack of post-it, a compass and an important thing dropped in the pond together. All the things were collected but the most important thing (maybe I can should call "my treasure") was lost in the bottom of pond....
I don't know how to express my depression after losing it..even I cleaned myself completely and few hours passed by, still concern about it and thinking if there is any way to get it back. But I know it's really difficult to be found from a 1200 square meter pond if I don't drain out all the water. Which means, I definitely lose it.

But sometimes, if a thing or a person being in your life and you really treasure this relationship (or connection), please regard it as a "special present" then don't give it up easily in any condition no matter how hard it is.

This time, my treasure is a Swiss military knife which my dad gave me when I was 15. As I remember, it s a present for got admission in senior high school. I always keep it with me where ever I be, till now already 13 years.

I really don't want to accept I'm losing it..so decide to search it by a stupid way...feeling it with my bare feet to the bottom slowly..like a phycho or moron what ever you say...

Finally, after nearly 1 hour searching, I feel so cold and can't keep carrying on anymore...when I decide to leave it then I step on something........


Yes, that is it!!
I got my treasure back!!! (hurray~!!)

After this event, I think I will keep it firmly in mind "don't easily let anyone (or anything) go if you really treasure it, and please try hard to maintain the relationship (or connection) among you".
And no more lament...if you haven't really tried hard for it.
